---Hildegard Von Bingen saw man more to be like a plant than machine. She saw man to have his own power to heal as opposed to a machine that needs to be fixed.

---A farmer does NOT grow a plant. He sets the conditions in which a plant can grow...the best that he can. For a plant to optimally grow the farmer knows that he must depend on a bunch of variables to work together. BUT...when all is in place, allowing the life energy...(the VIRIDITAS,) the plant grows.

---The patient will HEAL when ALL of the non-essentials that intefere with healing...have been removed. The VIRIDITAS is much the same as the chi, the life-force, the god-force - whatever word that is used to refer to the energy that promotes the life process.
